UBS Nobel Perspectives Live! – Four Nobel Laureates in Economics speak at Goethe University

Concentrated economic knowledge on the Westend Campus: On October 26, the four Nobel laureates in economics Robert Engle, Christopher Pissarides, Michael Spence and Joseph Stiglitz will discuss some of the most pressing issues facing the world today in the Goethe University Casino. Participants in the UBS Nobel Perspectives Live! event will then have the opportunity to ask the four Nobel laureates questions.

How will the world be able to recover from COVID-19? What is the role of Europe? How can Germany make its climate goals a reality? What does the future hold for the next generation in terms of jobs, the environment and society as a whole?

In 2017, UBS launched Nobel Perspectives, a regular event series designed to allow students to interact face-to-face with Nobel laureates. Until today, UBS Nobel Perspectives Live! has made stops in Singapore, Shanghai, New York, London, Hong Kong and Taipei. On October 26, 2021, Nobel Perspectives Live! will be hosted in Frankfurt am Main for the first time. Goethe University students are invited to take a front-row seat as four Nobel laureates discuss the future of Europe and the climate crisis.

UBS Nobel Perspectives Live! provides a platform for a discipline that is adapting to an ever-changing world and striving to improve human well-being. UBS is partnering with more than 50 Nobel Laureates in Economics to do so.

As of now, interested parties can register and secure their free ticket; seats are limited.

UBS Nobel Perspectives Live!: October 26, 2021, 6:00 p.m., at the Casino on the Westend Campus of Goethe University Frankfurt and via livestream.
