Inspiriert vom New Yorker Fotok\u00fcnstler Brandon Stanton portraitieren seit einigen Monaten mehrere junge Fotografen die \u201eHumans of Goethe\u201c, Studierende und Mitarbeiter der Goethe-Universit\u00e4t, die die Hochschule durch ihre Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten zu einem vielf\u00e4ltigen Ort des Lernens, Arbeitens und Lebens machen. Die Fotografien und Interviews mit den Hochschulangeh\u00f6rigen werden online ver\u00f6ffentlicht und demn\u00e4chst in einer Wanderausstellung gezeigt.<\/p>\n

Die Vernissage im Foyer des IG-Farben-Hauses ist f\u00fcr 18. Januar 2017 geplant. Bis zum 31. Oktober k\u00f6nnen sich Angeh\u00f6rige der Goethe-Uni noch portr\u00e4tieren lassen. Die Kontaktaufnahme ist \u00fcber die Facebookseite m\u00f6glich. Das Projekt \u201eHumans of Goethe\u201c ist Teil der interreligi\u00f6sen Initiative \u201eCaf\u00e9 Abraham\u201c. Bereits zum zweiten Mal haben Studierende und Hochschulgemeinden zum Interreligi\u00f6sen Chillen eingeladen.<\/p>\n

An zwei Tagen Anfang Juni hat das Caf\u00e9 Abraham im Zentralen H\u00f6rsaalgeb\u00e4ude am Campus Westend der Goethe-Universit\u00e4t im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes seine Zelte aufgeschlagen. Benannt nach dem Stammvater dreier gro\u00dfer Religionen lud das Caf\u00e9 Abraham zum interreligi\u00f6sen Dialog ein. Ein Zelt, Musik, Liegest\u00fchle und Sitzkissen forderten zum Kommen und Bleiben auf und boten einen entspannten Rahmen zur Begegnung.<\/p>\n

Kurze Vortr\u00e4ge und moderierte Diskussionen erg\u00e4nzten das Programm. Zur Idee des Caf\u00e9 Abraham: Im Hinblick auf die t\u00e4glichen Nachrichten von Hass, Gewalt, Intoleranz und Terrordrohungen, aber auch vor dem Hintergrund der gro\u00dfen Fl\u00fcchtlingsbewegungen ist es Studierenden der Frankfurter Goethe-Universit\u00e4t ein Anliegen, ein deutliches Zeichen f\u00fcr Dialog und Toleranz zu setzen. Gemeinsam wollen sie darauf aufmerksam machen, dass Studierende unterschiedlicher Religionen friedlich zusammenleben, gemeinsam studieren und den Dialog miteinander suchen.<\/p>\n

Das Fotoprojekt \u201eHumans of Goethe\u201c, das \u00fcber die zweit\u00e4gige Pr\u00e4senz auf dem Campus Westend hinausgeht, soll dieses Anliegen unterst\u00fctzen. Das Caf\u00e9 Abraham und die Fotoaktion \u201e Humans of Goethe\u201c werden getragen von der Evangelischen Studierendengemeinde (ESG), der Islamischen (IHG) und der Katholischen Hochschulgemeinde (KHG) sowie von den Fachschaften der Fachbereiche Evangelische und Katholische Theologie der Goethe-Universit\u00e4t.
