Am 14. Dezember h\u00e4lt Prof. Dr. Volker Sommer im Rahmen der Reihe „Woher kommt der\u00a0Mensch? Einer neuer Blick auf Homo Sapiens“ einen Vortrag zum Thema „Lob der L\u00fcge. Zur Evolution von Intelligenz“. Der Vortrag\u00a0findet um 19.30 Uhr\u00a0im H\u00f6rsaal des Senckenberg Biodiversit\u00e4t und Klima Forschungszentrums, Georg-Voigt-Stra\u00dfe 14-16 statt. In der gesamten Vortragsreihe berichten international renommierte Wissenschaftler \u00fcber die atemberaubenden Fortschritte, die sich in allen die Evolution des Menschen betreffenden Disziplinen abzeichnen. Das erm\u00f6glicht ganz neue Antworten auf die gro\u00dfe Frage nach dem, was uns ausmacht. Evolution wird nicht l\u00e4nger nur als \u201eSurvival of the Fittest\u201c in Bezug auf k\u00f6rperliche Anpassung, Kraft und Geschicklichkeit angesehen werden.<\/p>\n

Vielmehr wirkt sich die Funktionslogik von Selektion und Anpassung auch auf Verhaltensweisen wie Kooperation und Altruismus aus.
