Mit der gemeinsamen Berufung st\u00e4rken die beiden Institutionen die deutsche Forschung zur Digitalisierung von Bildung. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Warum m\u00fcssen Handys und andere mobile Endger\u00e4te eigentlich aus dem Klassenraum verbannt werden? Sollten sie nicht besser kreativ in den Unterricht des 21. Jahrhunderts eingebaut werden? Warum nicht an Stelle von traditionellen Papierformaten eine App f\u00fcr die Kommunikation \u00fcber Stundenpl\u00e4ne, Pr\u00fcfungsergebnisse oder Fehlzeiten zwischen Dozentinnen und Dozenten, Lernenden und eventuell den Eltern nutzen? Sind computergest\u00fctzte Erweiterungen der Realit\u00e4tswahrnehmung (Augmented Reality) nicht eine ideale L\u00f6sung, um die Lernwelt von Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fclern sowie Studierenden anzureichern? \u201eEducational Technologies bieten zahlreiche M\u00f6glichkeiten, Bildungsprozesse effizienter, effektiver oder attraktiver zu gestalten\u201c, so Professor Dr. Hendrik Drachsler. Als neuer Professor f\u00fcr Informatik mit dem Schwerpunkt Educational Technologies am <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dipf.de\">Deutschen Institut f\u00fcr Internationale P\u00e4dagogische Forschung<\/a> (DIPF) und an der <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uni-frankfurt.de\">Goethe University Frankfurt <\/a>wird er dieses Zukunftsfeld erforschen.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Drachsler ordnet ein: \u201eInternational wird bereits seit einigen Jahren intensiv zu Educational Technologies geforscht. Ziel ist es, Deutschland der Spitzengruppe n\u00e4herzubringen.\u201c Im Rahmen seiner neuen Aufgabe wird er alle Bildungsbereiche in den Blick nehmen und sich auch dem Lernen au\u00dferhalb der Hochschule und am Arbeitsplatz widmen. Als einen Schwerpunkt bearbeitet die Professur das Thema \u201eLearning Analytics\u201c, das Auswerten von Daten aus Bildungsprozessen. Damit sollen neue Erkenntnisse \u00fcber das Bildungssystem und individuelle Lehr-Lernprozesse gewonnen werden, die es auch erm\u00f6glichen, personalisierte Lernarrangements zu etablieren.<\/p>\n<p>Am DIPF ist die Professur der Abteilung Informationszentrum Bildung (IZB) zugeordnet. Sie wird zudem in die Arbeiten des interdisziplin\u00e4ren und abteilungs\u00fcbergreifenden Zentrums f\u00fcr technologiebasiertes Assessment (TBA) eingebunden. An der Universit\u00e4t ist sie am Fachbereich Informatik und Mathematik verankert. So weiten DIPF und Universit\u00e4t ihre langj\u00e4hrige Kooperation auf ein weiteres Themenfeld aus.<\/p>\n<p>Das IZB entwickelt und betreibt Angebote der digitalen Infrastruktur f\u00fcr den gesamten Bildungsbereich. Dazu z\u00e4hlen der Deutsche Bildungsserver, das Fachportal P\u00e4dagogik und das Forschungsdatenzentrum Bildung. Das TBA-Zentrum realisiert innovative computerbasierte Verfahren, um Lernergebnisse zu erfassen und zu analysieren. Professor Dr. Marc Rittberger, Stellvertretender Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrender Direktor des DIPF und Direktor des Informationszentrums Bildung, erl\u00e4utert die mit der Neuberufung verbundene Zielsetzung: \u201eGemeinsam mit der Goethe-Universit\u00e4t wollen wir die Forschung zur Digitalisierung von Bildung ausbauen und auf dieser Basis auch unsere Infrastrukturangebote weiterentwickeln. Wir sind sehr froh, mit Professor Drachsler einen international profilierten Experten f\u00fcr diese Aufgabe gewonnen zu haben.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Professorin Dr. Mirjam Minor, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrende Direktorin des Instituts f\u00fcr Informatik (IfI), freut sich \u00fcber den Zuwachs: \u201eProfessor Drachsler ist einer der weltweit renommiertesten Forscher im Bereich Learning Analytics und st\u00e4rkt damit unsere Forschung im Bereich Data Science. Die Kooperation des IfI mit dem TBA-Zentrum er\u00f6ffnet hervorragende Chancen f\u00fcr neue Anwendungen von Educational Technologies. Professor Drachslers Lehrt\u00e4tigkeit wird eine wertvolle Bereicherung unserer Studieng\u00e4nge sein.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Hendrik Drachsler war zuletzt in den Niederlanden als Professor f\u00fcr \u201eTechnology-Enhanced Learning\u201c an der Hochschule Zuyd und als Asscociate Professor f\u00fcr \u201eLearning Analytics\u201c an der dortigen Fern-Universit\u00e4t t\u00e4tig. Er leitet die Special-Interest-Group \u201eData-driven Research and Learning Analytics\u201c der \u201eEuropean Association of Technology Enhanced Learning\u201c (EATEL) und ist Vorstandsmitglied der weltweit vernetzten \u201eSociety of Learning Analytics Research\u201d (SoLAR).
