Sie ist nicht nur das Modell f\u00fcr die wechselseitige Abh\u00e4ngigkeit von Leid und Erl\u00f6sung. Sie ist auch pr\u00e4gend f\u00fcr das Konzept zeitlicher Entwicklung. Erst sp\u00e4ter jedoch r\u00fcckte auch die r\u00e4umliche Dimension in den Mittelpunkt. Dass sich sehr unterschiedlich mit dem Thema Raum auseinandergesetzt werden kann, zeigt interdisziplin\u00e4re Forschung von Wallfahrten, Prozessionen und anderen paraliturgischen Raumpraktiken.<\/p>\n<p>Raum wird hier nicht als materieller, architektonischer Raum verstanden, sondern ist ein sozial und kulturell aufgeladener Handlungsraum und imagin\u00e4rer Raum. Die geistige Pilgerschaft ist daf\u00fcr besonders exemplarisch. Pilgerreisen finden nie im fernen Pal\u00e4stina statt, sondern im imagin\u00e4ren Raum. Diese raumhistorischen und -theoretischen Forschungen gaben dem vorliegenden Band wichtige Impulse. Der Schwerpunkt des Sammelbands liegt auf den historischen Raumkonzepten und -semantiken, die sich im Zusammenhang der Passionsfr\u00f6mmigkeit herausbilden.<\/p>\n<p>[dt_call_to_action content_size=&#8220;small&#8220; background=&#8220;fancy&#8220; line=&#8220;true&#8220; animation=&#8220;fadeIn&#8220;]<br \/>\nHans Aurenhammer ist Professor f\u00fcr Kunstgeschichte mit dem Schwerpunkt Renaissance an der Goethe-Universit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n<p>Daniela Bohde war 2001\u20132008 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Kunsthistorischen Institut der Goethe-Universit\u00e4t und habilitierte dort 2009.
