OG. angefertigt. Vorlage war die Aleppohirse (Sorghum halepense), die die K\u00fcnstlerin mit Robert Anton, Leiter des Wissenschaftsgartens, ausgesucht hat. Dieses Gras wurde dann \u2013 wie die Apotheker es kennen \u2013 herbarisiert, also gepresst und getrocknet, anschlie\u00dfend geknickt, und danach vergr\u00f6\u00dfert auf eine Schablone \u00fcbertragen. Die Aleppohirse lag somit als Grundlage f\u00fcr ein Graffiti in der Gr\u00f6\u00dfe 190 x 170 cm vor. Im Anschluss daran hat die K\u00fcnstlerin \u2013 assistiert von Kurator Carsten Siebert \u2013 das Schablonengraffiti, ein so genanntes Pochoir, auf die Wand gespr\u00fcht.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30825\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30825\" style=\"width: 750px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-30825\" src=\"https:\/\/aktuelles.uni-frankfurt.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/blog_kunstwerk-hirse2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aktuelles.uni-frankfurt.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/blog_kunstwerk-hirse2.jpg 750w, https:\/\/aktuelles.uni-frankfurt.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/blog_kunstwerk-hirse2-300x140.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30825\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cornelia Genschow spr\u00fcht Gras-Graffiti an eine Wand im Biozentrum, Campus Riedberg; \u00a9 Cornelia Genschow<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Durch Cornelia Genschows Werk ziehen sich die Verbundenheit mit der Natur und das Gesp\u00fcr f\u00fcr nat\u00fcrliche Strukturen wie ein roter Faden. Die K\u00fcnstlerin hat die Besch\u00e4ftigung mit Gras zu ihrem fast ausschlie\u00dflichen Thema gemacht, wobei es ihr gelingt, diesem Motiv immer wieder neue, \u00fcberraschende Facetten abzugewinnen und so \u201eauf den Zustand der Welt zu Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts aufmerksam [zu] machen\u201c (C. G.).<\/p>\n<p>Herbarisierte Gr\u00e4ser dienen der K\u00fcnstlerin auch als Ausgangspunkt f\u00fcr \u00fcberdimensional vergr\u00f6\u00dferte Stra\u00dfengraffitis oder raumgreifende Installationen. Kleine Eingriffe, wie Knicken der Gr\u00e4ser, verleihen den Werken Genschows eine subjektive Handschrift und machen sie zu abstrakten urbanen Zeichen, die durch ihren Schablonencharakter Verwandtschaft mit Scherenschnitten aufweisen.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30826\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30826\" style=\"width: 750px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-30826\" src=\"https:\/\/aktuelles.uni-frankfurt.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/blog_kunstwerk-hirse4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aktuelles.uni-frankfurt.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/blog_kunstwerk-hirse4.jpg 750w, https:\/\/aktuelles.uni-frankfurt.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/blog_kunstwerk-hirse4-300x140.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30826\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Vorlage f\u00fcr das Kunstwerk war die Aleppohirse (Sorghum halepense), die die K\u00fcnstlerin Cornelia Genschow mit Robert Anton, Leiter des Wissenschaftsgartens, Campus Riedberg, ausgesucht hat; \u00a9 Cornelia Genschow<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Das Werk im Biozentrum hat Unikat-Charakter, da die Schablone, die auf die Wand geklebt wurde, nach dem Spr\u00fchvorgang weggeschnitten wurde. Das Aleppogras ist vollst\u00e4ndig samt sorgf\u00e4ltig ausgegrabener Wurzel dargestellt. Der K\u00fcnstlerin ist es wichtig, eine Arbeit mit Ortsbezug an der Goethe-Universit\u00e4t zu hinterlassen, daher wurde das Gras auch aus dem Wissenschaftsgarten entnommen.
