Umso besser, wenn man dabei noch etwas Neues entdecken kann. Als Wissenschaftler kann ich all das vereinen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Woran arbeiten Sie gerade?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zum einen versuche ich, die innere Struktur und Zusammensetzung von Neutronensternen zu verstehen. Daf\u00fcr untersuchen wir die Ph\u00e4nomene, die bei ihrer Verschmelzung in bin\u00e4ren Systemen auftreten \u2013 also Gravitationswellen, elektromagnetische Strahlung und die Nukleosynthese von schweren Elementen. Zum anderen extrahiere ich so viele Informationen wie m\u00f6glich aus den Bildern von supermassereichen Schwarzen L\u00f6chern und versuche herauszufinden, ob Einstein recht hatte oder ob verschiedene Gravitationstheorien besser zu den Beobachtungen passen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wie sieht Ihr idealer Arbeitstag aus?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leider sieht mein idealer Arbeitstag ganz anders als die Realit\u00e4t aus. Ich h\u00e4tte gern viel mehr Zeit, mit meinen Studierenden, Doktorand*innen und Postdocs \u00fcber Wissenschaft und Forschung zu diskutieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Worauf k\u00f6nnten Sie im Arbeitsalltag gut verzichten?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich w\u00fcnschte, ich k\u00f6nnte auf alle zeitraubenden Aspekte verzichten, die mit der Leitung einer gro\u00dfen wissenschaftlichen Forschungsgruppe und der \u00dcberwachung des reibungslosen Ablaufs eines m\u00f6glichen Exzellenzclusters verbunden sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>An meinem Job mag ich<\/strong>&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;die Freude, eine v\u00f6llig neue Idee zu entwickeln und zu erkennen, dass diese vielleicht tats\u00e4chlich vielversprechend ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wie motivieren Sie Ihre Arbeitsgruppe?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In vielerlei Hinsicht ist unser Beruf eine Berufung, daher bringen Wissenschaftler*innen bereits eine gute Portion Motivation mit. Ich bin jedoch fest davon \u00fcberzeugt, dass nichts mehr inspiriert als ein gutes Vorbild. Das versuche ich zu sein, um meine Arbeitsgruppe zu motivieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Die Goethe-Uni ist f\u00fcr mich\u2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein gro\u00dfartiger Melting Pot von Kultur und klugen K\u00f6pfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mit welcher ber\u00fchmten Pers\u00f6nlichkeit w\u00fcrden Sie gerne mal einen Tag tauschen?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bernard Moitessier. Er lebt leider nicht mehr, wird aber immer ein Vorbild f\u00fcr mich sein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wie bekommen Sie den Kopf von der Forschung frei?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Theoretisch habe ich daf\u00fcr viele M\u00f6glichkeiten, aber in der Praxis ist das in den letzten beiden Jahren zunehmend schwieriger geworden. W\u00e4hrend der Pandemie bin ich viel mehr gesegelt als \u00fcblich, habe es geschafft, ein Buch zu schreiben, und habe mich auch in Bildhauen und Schreinern versucht. Ich w\u00fcnschte, ich k\u00f6nnte mehr von all dem machen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-background has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#737934;background-color:#eeeeee\"><strong>Prof. Luciano Rezzolla<\/strong> geh\u00f6rt der Clusterinitiative <a href=\"https:\/\/elements.science\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><font color=\"#737934\"><u>ELEMENTS<\/u><\/font><\/a> an.
