The structural biologist, who has headed the European research infrastructure network since 2022, will now hold the position until December 2031.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instruct-ERIC is a Europe-wide research infrastructure that provides users with high-end technologies and methods in structural biology. ERIC stands for European Research Infrastructure Consortium and refers to a special legal form that enables the establishment and operation of research infrastructures of European interest on a non-profit basis. ERICs are funded by member countries and managed by representatives of the 17 member countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Harald Schwalbe is recognized worldwide for his development of modern NMR methods and pulse sequences and their application to complex fundamental problems in chemistry and biology.
