Funding Program Fokus: Apply now until 15 January 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The program Focus aims at high qualified early career researchers of Goethe University up to 6 years after finishing their PhD,&nbsp;who have an innovative research idea and are currently preparing their own independent grant proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Focus aims to increase the chances of successful extramural funding when future research independence is observable, and strengthening the visibility in the research community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>participation in a grant application workshop<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>flexible funding up to EUR 10,000 (in particularly justified cases up to EUR 20,000) and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>additional support by an academic mentor during the application phase.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Within 12 months of receiving the funding, an independent third-party funding proposal is to be submitted as a first step toward establishing an independent research career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All information regarding the application can be found on the <a
