GRADE Research Day 2022

Die Goethe Research Academy for Early Career Researchers (GRADE) lädt alle Interessierten zum GRADE Research Day am 4. Mai 2022 ab 13.00 Uhr rund um das Thema “Wissenschaftskommunikation” ein!

Wir möchten Sie informieren, zu Diskussionen anregen, ein neues Buch vorstellen und bei einem gemütlichen Beisammensein den persönlichen Austausch genießen.

Das folgende Programm erwartet Sie:

• Einführungsvortrag „Moderne Wissenschaftskommunikation – The Good, the Bad, and the Necessary“, Rebecca Winkels von „Wissenschaft im Dialog“
• Podiumsdiskussion unter dem Titel „Wissenschaftskommunikation: Großer Nutzen für die Gesellschaft, wenig Nutzen für die wissenschaftliche Karriere?“
  Moderation: Dr. Jan-Martin Wiarda
  Teilnehmende: Prof. Eva Geulen, Prof. Sandra Ciesek, Dr. Christian Münch, Rebecca Winkels
• Book Launch: Präsentation des Bandes „Nachhaltige Entwicklung in einer Gesellschaft des Umbruchs“
  Einführung: Prof. Birgit Blättel-Mink
  Vortrag: Dr. Carolin Völker
• Workshop „Podcast? Hab ich auch schon mal gehört“
  mit Nicolas Wöhrl und Peter Kohl

Ausklingen wird dieser vielseitige Tag mit einem leckeren Buffet, Getränken und nach langer Zeit endlich wieder einmal einem netten persönlichen Zusammensein.

Der Research Day für alle Promovierenden, Postdocs und Interessierte findet am 4. Mai 2022 von 13.00 Uhr bis 18.30 Uhr mit anschließendem Buffet auf dem Campus Westend statt.

We would like to inform you, stimulate discussions, present a new book and enjoy personal exchange during a cozy get-together.

The following program awaits you:

• Panel discussion titled “Science communication: great benefit for society, little benefit for scientific careers?”

This versatile day will end with a delicious buffet, drinks and after a long time finally a nice personal get-together.

The Research Day for all PhD students, postdocs and interested parties will take place on May 4, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 6:30 pm followed by a buffet on the Westend Campus. Please register for the event by April 27!
