Goethe University’s Andreas Dengel on Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list

It is official: He is now one of the „most exciting people under 30“.  Andreas Dengel, professor of computer science didactics at Goethe University Frankfurt, has been included in business magazine Forbes’ annual „30 under 30“ list for the DACH region comprising Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The list honors all those who have already achieved extraordinary things despite or precisely because of their age. The DACH region has featured as a separate source of 30 innovative minds since 2016.

On the website, Dengel’s inclusion on the 2022 list is justified as follows: „At 29, he is one of the youngest professors in Germany. He has more than 50 scientific and practical publications under his belt and has been able to collect more than €1.1 million in funding.“ Dengel himself is quoted as saying, „I would not measure my suitability [for the „30 Under 30″ list] only by professional success, but by the socially relevant projects and research that preceded and resulted from it.“
