Rainbow Day: Career Fair for the LGBTQIA+ Community

Goethe University Frankfurt’s Career Service is continuously expanding its offerings for students and graduates, and introducing a novelty this year: The first career and contact fair for diversity at a German university.

The „Rainbow-Day“ will take place on July 13, 2023 from 9:00 – 17:00 h on Goethe University’s Westend Campus.

Visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to get to know companies, who see themselves as modern and cosmopolitan places of work and for whom diversity is important, as well as meet some of their employees. It will be possible for visitors to engage in direct conversations at some of the around 60 exhibition stands. In addition to these discussions, the fair also includes an all-day accompanying program.

The day will start with a welcome by Prof. Dr. Michael Huth, Goethe University’s Vice President Strategic Organizational and Quality Development. Dr. Nargess Eskandari-Grünberg, Frankfurt City Mayor and Head of the municipal Department for Diversity, Antidiscrimination and Social Cohesion, will give the welcoming speech. She will be followed by a variety of corporate and professional presentations for those interested. The 90-minute panel on „Equal Opportunities in Application Processes and in the Workplace: LGBTIQ* Community & Allyship“, held at 1:30 p.m., offers further room for intensive dialog.

The Rainbow Day visitor lounge offers complimentary drinks, seating, and opportunities for direct exchange within the community.
